EVENTS CALENDAR 2018
The Barn at Easington hosts Seasonal events throughout the year. These vary from single day or evening celebrations through to week long residentials. All events posted on

Our fourth Halloween Hoedown. A magical combination of Fire,
Spectacle,Food, Costumes, Games, Music, Stories and, of course,
This year we are lucky to have sponsorship from Leisure in the
Community and Durham County Council to bring some extra
special additions to our celebration.
Community groups from across East Durham are coming together at the
Halloween Hoedown to share with us their ghost stories. Inspired by
Sarah Waters’ The Little Stranger, this year’s Durham Book Festival Big Read,
also currently on general release in cinemas, participants have been working
with writer Anna Woodford and Charlie Darby-Villiers conjuring up haunting
tales to share round the campfire. Groups have also been working with

9.30 SHIPCOTE AND FRIENDS - Heartwarming Country Swing to dance the night away.
10.30 AULD MAN'S BACCIE - Fantastic footstomping Blues duo from Seaham
Fancy Dress optional but welcome!
Catering on site and fully licensed bar so please don't bring your own
food or alcohol. This is the only way we can make the event pay for
itself and keep the ticket price down.
